Modern Falsifications of History
African Origin of Civilizations Myth or Reality by Cheikh Anta Diop

In Chapter three,
Domeny de Rienzi a traveller, in the early 19th century, concluded, ''it is true that back in the distant past, the dark red Hindu and Egyptian race dominated culturally the yellow and black races, and even our own white race then inhabiting western Asia,'' (Diop., page 43) his statement validated the fact that is known universally that the cradle of civilization started in Africa. He continues to point out, ''at that time our race was rather savage and sometimes tattooed, as I have seen it depicted on the tombs of Sesostris I.'' (Diop., page 43). He expressed his disappointment at the state of his ancestors in contrast to the Ancestors and achievements of Egypt.  Such sentiments could have been the root cause and the eventual birth of Egyptology.

''The birth of Egyptology was thus marked by the need to destroy the memory of a Negro Egypt at any cost and in all minds. ''(Diop., page 45). Egyptology was born to rid the world of a Negroe beginning. It was born out of the insecurity and inferiority complex of European scholars, travellers and so on. It affected their sense of identity and the existence of a Negroe supremacy undermines their own supremacy. To say, that White society was influenced by a Negroe one would undermine their supremacy and their superiority complex in every section of society. To validate Egypt is to validate the ancient truth of kindship, sharing, influencing one another and comradery. It would mean Egypt being more ancient influenced all her surroundings especially, current day European history and nations.

The Egyptian knows, ''he belongs to the Black race, designated under the general term Nahasi.'' (Diop., page 46). The term Nahasi means black people, the ancient people were not confused about their beginnings or their ancestry. They've paid homage to all those before them. It was depicted in their arts, writings, deities and so on the importance of their image as it is linked to their authentic identity. But racists scholars and so on don't want to validate a Negroe Egypt so they use the admixture that occurred ages ago to their advantage. If they can attribute greatness and civility to people of Negroe ( African ) and White (European) admixture than they can spin history into their favour. Instead of saying a completely Negroe race gave us civilization, they can say a Negroe race mixed with white gave us civilization.
Trying to allude that whiteness in their DNA was the catalyst for the Egyptian dynastic rule.

On the Negro Ethiopian, ''they are pseudo-Whites when they are our contemporaries and when their ethnic reality prevents us from considering them as authentic Whites.'' (Diop., page 50). White academics and scholars use situations like this to debunk the authenticity of the Egyptian dynastic rule over the Arabian world, Europe and so on. Because
White European specialists were, ''convinced that everything valuable in life can come only from their race. '' (Diop., page 65). By any means necessary will history be re-written where the White man is the victor and the source of civilization even it means falsifying documents to achieve that myth.
